Thanks to the electronic ticket, you no longer run the risk of losing or forgetting your ticket! Any modifications you wish to make to the flight or departure date can be done remotely online or with just one call, subject to your fare tariff conditions.
Simple, practical, fast…
- You can make your reservation on-line (or by contacting an Air France call center, or via your travel agency). Once you have paid for your trip, your ticket is created in an Air France database.
- You then receive a trip summary by e-mail or fax that includes all the necessary information about your trip, along with some mandatory legal provisions.
- You can obtain your boarding card via Internet, a Self-Service Kiosk or a check-in counter. You no longer need to go to the sales desk upon arrival at the airport.
Note
- New: Electronic tickets are gradually being introduced for passengers traveling with a baby on Air France flights to certain destinations.
- Some passengers cannot take advantage of electronic tickets. This includes passengers who:
- need special assistance at the airport
- exceed the baggage allowance permitted on their flight.
- If you wish, you can provide a document reference (Flying Blue card, credit card, passport number, driving license or ID card) when making your reservation. This reference, known as an identifier, allows you to obtain your boarding pass more rapidly.

All Air France, Brit Air, City Jet, Regional or CCM (Compagnie Corse Méditerranée) flights, as well as many KLM and SkyTeam partner flights are eligible for electronic ticketing, with the exception of the following destinations:
- In Europe
Air France flights from or to Budapest (when flights are operated by Malev)
- In Asia
Air France flights from or to Shanghai (when flights are operated by China Southern Airlines)
- Polynesia
Air France flights from or to Nouméa (via Osaka)

With Internet Check - In you can choose your seat and print out your boarding pass anytime from 30 hours* prior to the departure of your flight. All you need is an Internet connection!
This service is available on almost all destinations.
* 24 hours for flights departing from or arriving Mauritius, Lebanon, Hungary and Delhi.
Save time at the airport by checking-in at a Self-Service Kiosk whether you are traveling alone or with company, with or without baggage!
How does it work?
Simply touch the screen and let it guide you! If you have opted for an electronic ticket, insert your Flying Blue card, or credit or debit card, held in your name (even if this card was not used to pay for the ticket). This allows the Self-Service Kiosk to identify you and to locate your electronic ticket in our database.
If you have chosen to travel with a paper ticket, insert it into the kiosk.
Self-Service Kiosks offer you the possibility to:
- Check in 5 hours before departure time and right up to the Check-In Deadline.
- Check-in even if you have a connecting flight.
- Check-in for your return flight, if it is within 24 hours following departure. This service is offered on all our flights with the exception of La Navette shuttle flights.
- Select your seat on the screen display of the cabin ((up to 9 passengers reserved on the same file).
- If you have opted for an electronic ticket, print a Trip Summary that includes all of the necessary information about your trip.
- Verify registration of award miles with your Flying Blue card and complete necessary information.
- Change your departure time or choose to be put on a waiting list, depending on fare conditions.
Travelers with student, youth, child, couple/family, or senior citizen rates may check-in using the Self Service-Kiosks. A document justifying the special rate will be requested before boarding.
